II. Explanation of Our Next Classes
(WEDNESDAY) For the next class, you will dive more deeply into contemporary feminisms of color--- you will meet the legacy of the book you have read today. Be prepared to connect the past and the present.
(MONDAY) You will notice that you need to bring an infographic based on your section of the book to class next week. Click here for more details about that. Scrapbook paper will be provided for you. Alternatively, you could create a larger poster using cardstock, etc. Next week will feature a gallery session. This means that all posters/scrapbook pages will go on the wall and you will be asked to visit each one... like visiting an art museum. NOTE: This is NOT a poster session where you display your poster but no one really looks at it because you are standing right there--- so they just ASK you what's on the poster. You will not be babysitting your poster like that. You will be walking the gallery looking at other people's work as they look at yours!

IV. Facilitator's Previews
For today’s class, your writing had to address all of the following:
- What is the section of the book about? What does it do? Why do you suppose Moraga and Anzaldua thought this section was critical to the whole book?
- Which reading in your section was your favorite and why?
- Why do you suppose this book, based on what you have read, has gained the kind of critical traction and attention that it has? How and why was it challenging gender theory and feminist thought?
- Choose a facilitator who will take notes and speak back to the whole class.
- Each of you should share your photo-essay. Explain what you chose to focus on and why you picked the images that you have selected.
- Make sure that you have really covered your section and understand its contribution well. Rely on your colleagues to build this understanding. Today's facilitator's should make sure everyone is talking.
- Write a list together of the most important issues and authors in this section of the book. BE SPECIFIC! Facilitators will share this list with the while class.
