Many of you had problems with logging in last night. The site was down. If you couldn't get the RR done in time, just submit it on Monday--- no penalties. When the site goes down, you can also email: [email protected] (if Carmen doesn't get back to you soon enough).

III. More Definitions of Intersectionality
As you listen, jot down notes on the following on the back of your homework:

Your general thoughts and/or lines that you like from each video
Your thoughts on how/why these activists see their lives and their worlds through intersectional lenses

Please jot these down on the homework and be ready to share with your colleagues.

V. Whole Class Discussion: Our Collective Definition of INTERSECTIONALITY

With your partner(s), share what you see as the most important aspects of intersectionality that you have heard and/or read about.
Together, write a statement that defines intersectionality. Choose a facilitator who will write it out for you and present it to the class. Do NOT use terms like individualism, individuality, unity/all-as-one in your definition. Be original and critical! It can be a slogan, an interesting hashtag, a short poetic rhyme, etc. Not a wordy definition, but a phrase that brings it home!
Please submit your intersectionality statement at the end of class.
