I. Announcements
Please remember that next Monday, March 27 is the last day to submit any missing work from RR#1-RR#10. These need to be in hardcopy form and submitted at the end of class.  If you are absent, late, get sick, have a computer malfunction, email them in, etc NO EXCEPTIONS will be made for you. 

IIa. Hegemonic Masculinity 

• Go-Around of our examples of HM.  Do you see connections between your examples and others?  What are the similarities in the room?
• Was it difficult to find media instances of HM?  If so, why?  if not, why not?
• Can women also promote hegemonic masculinity?  Or, at least, have COMPLICATED relationships with it?

III. Hearing/Seeing Hegemonic Masculinities
Share your video/performance with a partner.  Please use earbuds if you are sharing performances, music, etc.  YOU MUST USE EARBUDS.  Do not play your device out loud. There are too many people in the room for all devices to play at once.

IV. Discussions of Hegemonic Masculinities
As a pair, answer these questions:

1. What connections do you see between your artifacts?
2. What are these the associations that we make with masculinities? Why?
3. If people understood the difference between sex and gender, would that change how people view HM?
